hm, is original receiver.
you connect USB reciver direct to rp2040 or use USB hub?
try turning on dreamcast, disconnecting the receiver from USB and then connecting it again.

Its direct. I tried with the only wired 360 devices I have (an arcade stick and a fightpad) and neither would work either. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I tested the points for continuity and don't think I messed up the points from my pic. Seems like it won't handshake or something because pressing the button does do a sync attempt it just never works. On the wiredpads the xbox circle flashes green and then nothing else and are unresponsive. I listed all the mods in case it was a power issue but not sure whats wrong.

This question will sound strange, but did you extract the KMJ2DC.uf2 firmware file from the USB4maple_firmware.zip archive before flashing the rp2040?
at the moment it looks like the firmware is not flashed into the rp2040 memory

Yes I extracted it and copy paste it over and the rp2040 auto ejects itself like normal. Did it a couple times.
I've made stuff with pico before like picoboot for gamecube.
Just not sure what I did wrong
I can eventually try a regular pi pico instead of the zero but I don't have a micro to type a adapter to test that.

Hey guys, how your doing?
After some days of tests, i'm facing a litle issue, i believe that because power supply of dreamcast port. I using a wired original Xbox 360 joystick and when using with usb hub, he disconnects when rumble is used on game, but when connected directly on rp2040, work well.
This problem ocurres when i use this same joystick on PC, some ports USB on my PC have this problem, too.
I knew that this don't is a problem of the adapter, but if somebody had a tip, could good.

What was the bug you fixed @megavolt? I'm using the Waveshare Zero but I haven't run into any issues.

this is fix for Waveshare Zero with Winbond W25Q16JVUXIQ memory, may be your board use another flash memory chip or your chip can work with clock 60 MHz
