Don't be so hard on yourselves. I'm sure you'll get more value for your money than I got with the original release. Those who bought the version with 4 music discs might be in for a treat. The OST was as far as I'm concerned the best part of the first limited edition...
On the other hand, those who sponsored this, but still haven't bought Sturmwind. Kick yourselves for choosing this over Sturmwind...

Man, there's a whole lot of Helwig hate in here

I spoke to him yesterday and he seemed an alright bloke.... I guess it depends on your situation though, had I bought a pile of games that don't have a resale value for some reason or another - I'd be as pissed off too I guess!

I don't get it.
@elmagicochrisg you bought twenty copies of the original DUX and because you weren't able to resell them Rene Hellwig is an asshole? Maybe I didn't properly understand what you where saying, but if there's one thing I don't like it is resellers who buy large ammounts of limited games and resell them for a higher price.
Regarding the new milestones (ship + stage): There are 1000 copies of Redux. When the project started, people pledged at least $65 for a copy. Now the 25000 are reached. If more people will buy the game (still for at least $65), there will be another spaceship and maybe the game will be even extended by an extra stage (if all copies sell). That would be ADDITIONAL content. Without it, the game would be complete anyway.
I'm new to this whole Kickstarter-Thing but, ain't that the way it works? What is your point? Would it be better if they would just wait and see how much people buy the game and wouldn't offer more content if more money is collected?

I'm with you on that when it comes to looking at the additional funding as a bonus rather than them shipping us an incomplete title. Although I guess you could look at it either way...
My view is, it ain't no Oblivion horse armour

You're right, it is not. Let's not confuse this with DLC. I hope there will be enough new buyers and all 1000 copies will sell. I want this additional stage...

What is saying is that he's pissed off because Rene Hellwig sold an unfinished product, and as a result, he couldn't resell them. He disagrees with Rene's business tactics, namely profiting off of a fix for DUX when it really should have been fixed in the first place.
It's not too late for us to take back our pledges until June 8. I might have to reconsider for Sturmwind, though I'm still not sure.

well, since a completist's workis never done, what is $65 compared to all the money spent on shit you never play

I thought he said he'll solve the problem once the kickstarter is finished.

If you can afford only one, go for STURMWIND
