Also, would it be possible to add support for GunCon2/other light guns in a future update?
no, it is not possible to support a light gun on the rp2040, there is no free space for this in the PIO module
Hi, megavolt85, you said it is not possible to support a lightgun like guncon, but could be possible to support a modern lightgun who act as mouse+keyboar? like
https://github.com/TeamOpenFIRE/OpenFIRE-Firmware ive connected my openfire gun to USB4MAPLE but 240p test suit shows as empty port
Edit with a log file from putty
Edit2: sorry, for the previous log, this one seems to be better.

Can anyone post instructions for dumping logs in order to request support for a specific controller?
I'm asking for a friend who purchased one of these:

To my knowledge, PuTTY and a USB-UART is required. Do you simply start a serial session while the UART is connected to RP board?

Just decided to plug up my USB4MAPLE bought from Dreamcast Live and I'm having to trouble getting anything to work. I have it plugged into a UGreen USB hub with which I have a Bluetooth receiver for my keyboard and a USB thumb drive for the VMU. The MAPLE is in port 2 and I have also tried it in other ports too but with no joy. Also there is nothing going to the Bluetooth receiver with power indicator light coming on. Am I missing something here? Is there something I should be doing but I'm not?

If it's Bluetooth, it's not going to work. A keyboard with a standard 2.4Ghz wireless receiver will work but USB4MAPLE doesn't support Bluetooth adapters.

Indeed it was missing its firmware. Itβs been added now. When you say use a 2.4ghz receiver instead, do most wireless keyboard also take this type as well as a Bluetooth one? I have an Akko 3061 wireless.
