There's so many cheap corruption prone memory cards that could be repurposed this way.
the last time i spoke to megavolt about this project and i talked to him about that and his plan at the time was to make a vmu style version dedicated to just saves, haven't asked him about it recently to see if that's still his plan
Something like this?

I use the 4 port BlueRetro with usb4maple without issue, any combination of ports, works just fine.

because usb4maple does not вraining many power.
here are three options for your problem:
1) RetroTime consumes too much power
2) the device you connected to usb4maple consumes too much power
3) the fuse on the controller board dies of old age and needs to be replaced

fixed all buttons and axes mode for xbox360 controller and added oled display support
I2C display 0.96" 128x64 on ssd1306 controller.
theoretically 1.3" 128x64 display on SH1106 controller should work.
VCC should be connected to 3v3, GND to GND, SDA to GP26, SCL to GP27

don't be afraid to connect a 1.3 inch display, it will work anyway, the picture might be shifted a few pixels to the right and there might be garbage in the unused area, but in any case I'll fix it when I get these displays.
P.S. I accidentally ordered a 0.96 inch display, it's very small, although it looks cool, but 1.3 inches will be much better
