I remembered that I was asked for this necessary function, now if you turn off the adapter on a running game and connect it back, then the last vmu turned on will boot

this is 2,42" if you like it, and yes it says ssd1309, but works as 1306 (ive tested with openfire lightgun), only take care to pick the 4-pin interface ones

Has any testing happened with getting DreamEye to work with usb4maple yet? It would need a custom made socket to usb though.

Just thought of a really cool idea that would be very handy for some Japanese online games. Would it be possible to implement an alternate keyboard mode that would assign underscore to the space bar? This would be great for chatting in games that don't support spaces (like Gundam and Golf Shiyouyo 2).

first of all I would like to say that it is possible, but you need to come up with a way to enable the alternative mode.
but I am more interested in the reason why the spacebar does not work, maybe there are people who have an original Japanese keyboard to check if the spacebar works on it

The games themselves just don't support spaces in chat. I believe it's just because spaces aren't used much in Japanese. I have a JP keyboard so I know it doesn't work at all regardless of region.
As far as enabling the alternate mode, maybe pressing a combo like Ctrl + F1/F2.
Edit: I think I figured it out! So the games do support spaces, but you need to hit Enter to end what you're typing, and then you can put a space. It's a bit strange. Maybe you could make the alternate mode assign "Enter + Space" to the spacebar? I assume you could do that?
