Guys, dual analog controller is for modern consoles and PC. However, it also will work with the Saturn with the wireless receiver. Saturn and Dreamcast can both use dual analog controllers as the code exists for it on the maple bus especially. Games could be hacked for more modern control layouts by hex editing the game executable. This was discussed to death over at Assembler and Obscure. It is hoped the same will be made from the DC controller since they already prototyped a dual analog Genesis/Megadrive controller too.

Yup, and it will have full compatibility with PS3 as well as a few other consoles from what they initially said. I don't think 360 but it might with Xbox One and Series X/S with an official USB receiver. Also not sure about the PS4 or 5 but they did show lots of modern official controllers working on Saturn at least with their adapter.
So presumably when they also do the receiver for Dreamcast the same will hold true.

The controllers don't work on the xboxone/seriesXS without a little work. I got it to work on my xbox by using this PS4>XBOX USB adapter.

You plug this into the xbox, then put in the bluetooth wireless adapter that comes with the saturn/genesis controller. Then it works perfectly.

really interested on how this will compare to Nintendo now launching switch versions of N64 and Genesis, wonder if that will light a fire to make retrobit first to market on it.

The USB Retro Bit Genesis controllers that have been out for a couple years are already compatible with Switch and cost $20 ($35 for wireless).
This is a far cry from the absolute rip off that is $50 for Nintendo's pad, but it's Nintendo, so tons of people will probably buy them anyway.

Someone asked them about the Nomad. They said "The Portable Genesis is on hold for the time being. We hope to return to it at a future date."
So in other words, we might see it in 2024
