I'm having freezing problems with this game I've yet to get past the 1st level

After a bit of fiddling about I've got it working fine and have just played it to completion. No sure what my issue was maybe sd maker hadnt put it on the card properly who knows

Put the game on this morning and let it run in attract mode after about 20 mins it froze again

I had freeze on stage 2 boss when another player tried to join after losing last life

The lockup happened when you lost your last life and continued with a different character?
Or you lost your last life and Player 2 tried to join the game?

Lost last life and tried to join game while player 1 still playing and locked when press start to join .. just fully froze even sound was like skip rewind skip type

As a couple others have reported, the game freezes on me if I die on the stage 3 boss "Shocking Vamp Vanity" and have to continue. I'm playing from a HDD with RetroDream (0.6 loader, 0x8cfe8000, sync 8, DMA off). I'll have to try some other settings but it's kind of tedious to test since I have to get to that point in the game every time.

Have you try 0.6.10 or 0.6.11 loaders ?

I'm not sure. I'll have to check. It's whatever the "Auto" loader is on DragonCity's RetroDream package.

I had the same problem with my hdd dreamshell...use memory 0x8cff4800....works for me , just finished the game.
