I'd really LOVE to see the Bitmap Brothers classic "Gods" giving this CD16 treatment :)
It's my favourite game from the old DOS gaming days. But since I've fully moved to console gaming now, the only options I have are the Genesis and SNES ports... and both run way way way too fast to be enjoyable.

agree, both md and snes versions are almost unplayable, sort of a very high frameskip :?

an added ingame soundtrack would be indeed cool, also due the game is 90% just sfx
also, i think something can be precached with this one, to have a less loadings release

As long as the game itself runs fine, I'd be happy :) I know there is a homebrew CD32 version that has an extended intro movie, but ...yeah... I could easily live without that.

I have better intro movie and smooth it will have HD remake intro :) all part of amiga cd16 :)

game is not very smooth on real amiga 500 I'm trying to find a video of how it should run

Because i can get it runing like this but still feels funny to me

because it works at 25 fps instead 50 fps

@sandro

actually, it's worse than that, it's every third frame hence the 16,66 fps figure Mrs Beanbag mentioned

I have slight glitch on the txt scrolling at the bottom but it works when you on items

16,66 fps sound weird, indeed. Still, what's been seen in the video is at least playable (and beatable) - not like the SNES and GEN versions.

video you seen is 100% fullspeed the game runs at 15fps to 20fps rendering scrolling at 16.6 every third frame
Atari st scrolling for that game it's a direct port whats in the video is exactly how it runs on real hardware..

It only scrolls every 3rd frame it's why on the snes or megadrive it's too fast and breaks the games..

Lead platform or og game is atari st which does not have smooth scrolling

interesting how it's not really noticeable on Amiga, when playing
it seems indeed around 25, probably they optimize the frames used

the genre itself, puzzle platformer, so a bit relaxed than a full action title, maybe help to 'mask' also

but yeah, the castle collapsed on console
