Gotta let it simmer for a bit.
It will taste better as the flavours mix and the ingredients age a bit.

SWAT added all our developments from DreamShell to KOS so that GTA3 would work better.
now in KOS you can use streaming reading from GD-ROM via DMA, I want to note that this functionality was used only by Visual Concept studio, apparently only they had full documentation because they were an internal studio of SEGA itself and only they optimized their code for DreamCast hardware as much as possible

This is exactly what should do people who were at an internal SEGA development studio for Dreamcast but of course, it takes time and work and passion for the retro games

This entire community and everyone using KOS, or who will ever eventually play GTA3 DC, owe you both a great deal for this amazing work. I just want to let you know that on a personal level, as a DC developer, I greatly appreciate it.

It's not my area of expertise either within the codebase, but I'm hoping to find some free time relatively soon to help review and expedite the PRs getting merged into KOS.
