Z-Software develops the still unknown game which redspotgames has already announced last week, the Munich-based company disclosed today.
The Dortmund-based Z-Software GmbH already made their mark with the 3D spaceshooter “Doxan” and the internationally well-known “Handball Simulator 2010: European Tournament”. It is the first true simulation of the popular ball game on the PC. The company was founded back in 2008, comprises a team of 5 employees and also offers further services such as motion capturing. A couple of freelancers have been involved to the secret project as well.
redspotgames supports the title as a cooperation partner and involves themselves with voice recordings et al. Due to today’s website update it was also made public that the first part of the project name contains the word “Solar”.
Additionally it has been revealed that it’s a “3D Arcade Space Shooter”. The game offers 11 diversified and action loaded missions and a “Skirmish” mode, that contains a battle area in which the player has to compete against a wave of enemies. You’ll find 3D models of the ships attached.
The complete name and target platform will be revealed until end of this week.

Wow! 3D Space shooter!? Sounds like it could very well be on DC to me! I hope it is and the price is not too high! Been a while since we had a good 3D game on DC anyhow.

Well, it did say that this game will push the systems limits, and that sure ain't no Crysis graphics, I should know, I ran that game on my ATI 3870X2 gfx card in DirectX 10.

Theoretically u could have a 3d game on NEO GEO CD. If wouldn't be pretty. There was a full 3d fps for the snes and GB color.
