Here's a time lapse video showing how I build my line voltage inducers in case anyone is interested. Mine are a bit different as I try and keep it as compact as possible (no boxes). I also encase the wires in hot glue for added strength and use shrink tube for a more finished look.

Here's how I made a handful for friends of mine getting their dreamcasts online too!
I used some spare phone line conduit because its easier to strip and solid copper wire more reliable and and rj11 ends I squeezed on myself. and some spare 9v and 12v adapters from the dollar bin at the elecronics store. both work great with the same 330ohm resistor, i assume 18v would work for pal. some hot glue and shrink wrap. A small adapter with a coupler to connect a longer phone line if desired. I didn't use battery connectors but I could have.
I thought about getting some of these to make an adapter, and puting the parts right inside this casing would make a nice neat cheap little adapter.
Im going to make a DreamPi, all parts are ordered, should arrive within a few weeks

Here's my new USB-powered line voltage inducer. It's basically the Lamborghini of LVIs with high quality phone cable with gold plated contacts, hot glue reinforced internal components, and marine-quality adhesive-lined shrink tube. You could probably use this sucker underwater! I'll have some up for sale on Dreamcast Live once I have a good amount of them made. For anyone wanting to build their own, this is the 9v USB step up cable I use.
I also made an adapter for existing line voltage inducers:

Thats amazing PCWzrd! I want to 3D Print a case to stick a RASPI/LVI/MODEM all in one compact case The one thing I was really missing was something to get power from the pi itself but I think your USB powered one is just the thing I need

Thanks Xiden! The cable works great and makes everything much cleaner. That combined with my new Wi-Fi adapter cleans everything up nicely.

I do make full kits for sale occasionally. I can let you know when I have another one if you like. The target price is usually $59.99 but it may vary depending on how much I can the parts for.
