Well that sounds like it would require changing other code to support that feature.

At least at first just talking about a ui facelift

Can you explain or provide visual info about what you by this and how it operates?

They're referring to building a directory structure using an SD card management tool. Then, having openMenu reflect said structure with a folder-browser-like experience.

Cool!

I like it, but I must say... I do wonder about the navigability of the left-hand menu. I realize you'd use the D-Pad to move around the screen (top menu, left menu, right menu). I guess the only way to know how it'd pan out is to try it!

I'd also note that game ID support with VM2 is a HUGE draw right now, and is a big reason many have switched to openMenu is recent weeks/months. Certainly, ensure that remains in-tact :)

this is all up to change. just learning more about how to use Clay and making examples.

This change should only affect the ui and interaction, nothing underlying in the backend of openMenu.

I have an idea how those could be easily implemented.

Good idea. It'll shift all the work to the card builder tool

Huge overhaul, easier to write menus and better looking.

It will mean the gdmenu theme will be gone though
Sounds exciting! Any mockups to keep up on our toes?
