Very hard to get a game running at frameskip 3 on real hardware to be the same on this lol trying mate since it's not smooth to start with...kremiso wrote:interesting how it's not really noticeable on Amiga, when playingIan Micheal wrote:...video you seen is 100% fullspeed the game runs at 15fps to 20fps rendering scrolling at 16.6 every third frame
Atari st scrolling for that game it's a direct port whats in the video is exactly how it runs on real hardware..
It only scrolls every 3rd frame it's why on the snes or megadrive it's too fast and breaks the games...
it seems indeed around 25, probably they optimize the frames used
the genre itself, puzzle platformer, so a bit relaxed than a full action title, maybe help to 'mask' also
but yeah, the castle collapsed on console

lol, just don't stress you too much with this if does not worth it, we can just use it as a better fast loading release after all

Well you see if you put your focus on just the main guy not the background it works i dont notice it but if you take a wife angle view it's like skipy mess hard to tell people this how it really runs if they did not really know lol
I do it best i can and make the release did all the other parts just getting it best it can 100% speed = render every 3rd frame lol..

yeah, there is a little different running when forcing ntsc with this emulator, the video gain something compared to the audio;
it could be useful with this one, cause almost no music in game, so not really synch issues
it could help some other titles too, ie Ruff n Tumble, that runs at 25fps, more or less
with the music turned off + cd16 treatment

It helps for sure.. Normal running a pal game at ntsc would mean the music is too fast well i have music running or sfx at correct pal speed video at ntsc speed lol.. helps this a lot because the pal version runs at 15 to 20fps ntsc runs 20 to 25 fps.. still only when scrolling renders every 3rd frame that's how they coded it for the ST lol
