J'ai une copie de votre hack uncensored+undub que j'ai trouvé sur CDRomance (ils ont une version NTSC ; chuis au Canada) et je cherche comment appliquer les modifications dans ce thread là-dessus. C'est aussi simple que je remplace la première piste? Pour moi elles sont nommées « track01.bin » pis non pas « 1ST_READ.BIN ».

Also if French isn't your native lang I can switch back to English if that works better

Thanks for doing this! Is this based on the US version (correct timing with the JP original), or is it based on the PAL version (altered animation speeds, run speeds, cutscene timing speeds, etc.)?

I just want this but with Japanese VO/English subs! Was there a way I can assemble it myself?

I just tried it, and it does seem to be based on the PAL version, patched to 60hz. I would guess that the original PAL release modified certain things to work better in 50hz, but once patched to 60hz, it looks and plays differently than the JP/US versions should. Vyse's speed and movement are different than the originals, making him harder to control, and all of the cutscenes are out of sync with the audio.

Is there any chance the US version could be patched to have the half encounter rate + 2x EXP? I would be so grateful, and I would spread the word, as I know many other Skies of Arcadia fans would be grateful too!

Captain you're right, the intro is way off. I didn't notice before, but now that I'm interested in doing another replay soon, it's really bugging me. A true NTSC uncensored version with the encounter and EXP mod would be perfect.

You can change the encounter rate by changing the threshold value.
I'm guessing the way to cut the encounter rate in half for the NTSC version (NA) is to change the 01E0 at 8C0DAA5A to 03C0, but I can't seem to find 8C0DAA5A to begin with. I'm probably doing something stupid, so if anyone has any insight on this, please let me know. Better yet, if someone is willing to make the 0.5 encounter/2x exp changes to the uncensored NA version of the game themselves, please post it here! :lol:
