I'm sure it's easy as pie for pro racers like you and Chris!

Thanks for posting that, Alec. Interesting to see different approaches reach the same goal!
OK. Did some Desert City runs last night; tricky in a few places...
Turned out a modest time for starters... 43.953
Funny little contraption this PB car is, too. Quick, but not real fast. Zips around turns pretty well. Seems drifting is less important with this thing...

I'm amused that this tiny thing still manages to be faster than the Grasshopper.

^Indeed. Grasshopper...a true beginner's car. Probably helped level the field some in this, too (as pcwzrd wanted)...as I still suck with the other "normal" cars.
Nice time, btw. I'm still a ways off of that.
Just posting this because my 1st tiebreak entry was so weak...
Still having some trouble with a couple turns on this track... Hopefully have it sorted out before Monday.

Alec in the lead by less than a second! Who will win folks?! I think it's gonna be a close one!

Hi all, sorry I haven't posted in a while...had the flu for the past week or so.
Well done Chris & Alec, you've beat an old Daytona USA veteran. Even if I had more time on my hands, I doubt I would've beaten my last posted time. Good luck to both of you...I'm not going to try and call this one!

Thanks! Hope you're well now. Sorry we broke your winning streak!
I've got a new best time. Only 3 hours left, Chris. Best of luck!

Couldn't have held off getting the flu until after the competition?

Oh well. Hopefully you're back to full health now.

He's got more than that. There's about 14 hours left. It ends tomorrow at 12:00PM Eastern.

Indeed!
Damn... Well that's it. Rest assured, Alec. Victory is yours, as I'm not going to be able to give it another shot in the final 4 hours. No excuses. I had plenty of time over the 3 days. You deserved this one. Well played. I'm happy to have given you a good fight.
This was as close as I could get. (Good thing you made that last improvement.)
Heed my warning though. If we ever do another Sega Rally 2 comp (I wasn't here yet for the first one), I'll be out for blood!
