I went to some url search and after sometime i found the name of the game.
Then just to be sure i checked other images of the game.

Thats a long answer for a "yes i cheated" xD topic says guess the videogame. But im not the topic maker so Im not the one to decide if that counts or not... If it was my topic id definitely said that doesnt count.

well, using the web to search for a game's name, counts as guessing imo (I mean you have to use your brain a bit right)

the only thing in this sorta game that I personally find unfair is:

1) folks that are so stupid to post an image with its actual name (turrican.jpg), or link an image from a game(review) related site.

2) folks that simply look at the name of the image posted as above.

I myself use google a lot in these sorts of games, but it usually goes as follows: image x looks like a sega msys game to me, then I start looking for names & pictures of that genre of game on that particular system, and so on...

this is not called cheating, its actually using your brain. I've searched (on some occasions on this sorta game on different sites), for over 30 minutes & browsed at least 10 or maybe 20 other sites, to get info on a particular game or pic.

Well ive never said using google was cheating. Everytime i post an answer i search the game i think it is and compare pics to check for instance.

What i meant by cheating is like this case, where i didnt re upload the picture because i thought the picture name wasnt that self explanatory this time (mtO1.jpg). But copying the url and search it and just find the webpage its from and just read that page's title.. That doesnt involve at all any kind of video game knowledge, which i think is the challenge here, right? It doesnt require that much of a brain either, imo. Just(with firefox), right click on the picture, copy image location, ctr+t, google input thingy, ctrl+v and enter.

Well for next time i know.. Ill re upload the picture no matter its name.
