Hold the power button for 10 seconds. It will also enter sleep mode automatically by itself.

Mine arrived yesterday in Denmark. I was hoping for better sd card management without having to pull the card out, but at least it's nice that you can generate additional vmus as needed

Does it use the *click* eject+insert mechanism? On my SD2SNES mk3/pro it is wearing out sadly

Yes, you need to press it down in order to release it using a sim card ejector (included).

A full VMU dump is 128 KB. As such, a 4 GB card will give you over 31,000 virtual VMUs.
512 GB is total overkill.
