Chinese Dreamcast SD Adapters for sale

Will you be able to use that large of a sd card? I know you can portion an sd card, but I was under the impression that the reader could only support up to 8gb or so?

Well, I asked SWAT and he said theoreticaly Dreamshell supports up to 32GB cards, I think he just said it was never tested. If it works great, I have a 32GB card for all my emulators and homebrews, if not, I will just use it in my PSP and use my 2, 4GB SD cards I already have.

Somebody has to be the Guinea pig right? I have to see if it works with cards that high, and I'll bet you it does and I will have one of the ultimate unmodded stock standard Dreamcasts, to infinity..... and beyond!

I've ordered acouple of the SD dongle adaptors from that taobao site too.

Oh well, as long as I get it eventualy that is all that matters. I will just use my SD card on my PSP till then. I will have full roms and emulators on it. All GBA games on my PSP sound good!

I just hope they don't take till after march to send it. I will be one unhappy camper then.

The last one I made worked for little while then refused too?! I was getting 3.3v to the SD pcb but the led wouldnt light and it wouldnt recognise that the SD reader was there?

Ok, I just got my 32GB SDHC card in the mail, and I was so excited to try it out in my PSP first, then I looked at it closely, and noticed it was kind of large, so I compaired it with my PSP SD card, and this is slightly wider. I am screwed on using this on my PSP, as it won't fit. My question to you folks, is if these will fit in the Chinese SD loader, or will not be wide enough to accomidate such a wide card?

I was happy when I got it, but opening it was quite sobering. I guess next time I'll be more carefull and compare the dimensions of the card better.

If I have to, I'll return it and try to find a better price for a more compatible card.

PSP doesn't use SD it uses a memory stick pro duo a propreitary format. You can get a converter though.
