Update! It seems Sony is looking for highly requested games to bring to the PlayStation platform, including Shenmue III!

Sony is asking people what games they to see on PS4 on their Facebook page and it's already flooded with responses saying Shenmue and Shenmue III! Go reply if you're a Facebook user! The results will be in next month's issue of the Official Playstation Magazine!

nice to see the game but not on PS4, sega games do not belong on Sony hardware.

Unfortunately Sega is currently a software only developer/publisher, so they will publish their games on whatever hardware they can and that gives profit as they need it, like any other company.

Think of it this way: if they gather enough money on their bank accounts over the years, maybe they will re-enter the hardware consoles market somewhere in the future.

Nintendo is destined to follow Sega's destiny, as the Wii U sold very poorly, so if Nintendo falls into the software only business, maybe Sega will see their chance of returning into console production.

I like that. That's truth right there. Not ideology. BTW, SEGA has already earned back its entire home console capital from the early 1990s according to their November 5th 2nd quarter report ($1.6 billion revenue during that period). Every division of SEGA is profiting. They are truly back in Black for the first time since 1994.
