So I have both the Interact gun and Mad Catz' phaser, and I can't get either of them to work on my VGA monitor. It's a CRT, and my Saturn gun will work with it, just none of the Dreamcast ones. Both fire and the buttons work, but it doesn't detect a place on the screen.

Any idea on how I can fix one or both?

Crank up brightness to the max, then try calibrating the gun.

Depending on whether you're playing THOTD2 or Confidential Mission calibration is a little different.

Confidential Mission is the easier one to detect and calibrate your gun.

So which game was it you were trying to calibrate the gun for?...

I've been trying HOTD2 and Death Crimson OX. I should give Confidential Mission a shot.

Well it worked, sort of. Now I think my monitor overheats and shuts off every few minutes with the brightness cranked up. At least I know it wasn't the gun.
