Re: Collector's list of independent and unlicensed software for Dreamcast
First month into 2021, and we are already blessed with a glorious new Dreamcast release! Retro Sumus delivers Xenocider after 7 years of development and a failed Kickstarter campaign.

New release for Dreamcast! The new Erbe Software has sent all their backer rewards for Dráscula: The Vampire Strikes. For anyone interested, their campaign for Mortadelo y Filemón: El sulfato atómico is still open.

Re: Collector's list of independent and unlicensed software for Dreamcast
necropost quote, just to agree with the Retroguru site, little games 16 bit style, but as i likeRaen wrote:If you want to include homebrew games (as opposed to professionally released indie games), the list is almost endless... You can start with RetroGuru, they have released some of their games on the Dreamcast, mostly ported by Indiket, and Fruit'Y even had a pressed release through the DragonBox Shop (home of the Pandora and the upcoming Pyra handhelds):

The homebrew stuff is a little on the grey zone, as many of those games have fallen into obscurity. I remember a homebrew community over at DC-Evolution that focused on porting games to the DC.
the main thing, also for the Dreamcast

Re: Collector's list of independent and unlicensed software for Dreamcast
This update is long overdue, and Dreamcast fans should be having a bonanza of quality releases this year.
Tapeworm Disco Puzzle
The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia
An embarrassing aside: this game shipped with a game-breaking bug that is easy to encounter. Game Fairy is doing right for customers with a replacement disc program. More info here.
Ghoul Grind: Night of the Necromancer
Encuentro no Casual - Prológo
The prologue to a new Visual Novel (series). More than a demo, but not a complete game experience.
Witching Hour
Ghoul Grind: Night of the Necromancer
Yeah Yeah BEEBISS II
Intrepid Izzy - Yes! It's finally here.
...and some JoshProd ports.

The Texorcist: Exorcised Edition (Replacement disc program) is added to contested releases, also. I will not reward a botched release like this with an extra entry.

I remember I played a Eroge ~20 years ago on Dreamcast, it was unlicensed and a PC port. Dangeorus Toys. I can't remember, who did the port or who made it...
There is a image on Archive.org, but no info on the person(s) behind the port.
