DIY PS2Controller/Keyboard Adapter

I have seen many adapters which allow you to use your playstation controller on the dreamcast(such as: http://www.4triangles.com/catalog/total ... -p-96.html), does anyone know if this is possible without purchasing one of these products? Also, is there any way to take a regular pc keyboard (ps/2 or usb) and use it with the dreamcast? I can't seem to find a real DC keyboard around anywhere.
Thanks!

Yes, Total Control Plus or Total Control 2.

Total Control 2 will give you the ability to use the PC keyboard as well as the PS or PS2 controllers.

Total Control Plus allows for saving your game on the DC VMU as well as using the PS or PS2 controller.

I do not know if the Total Control Plus allows the use of a PC keyboard. I do not own this one.

I do not believe Total Control 2 does not allow saves on the VMU. I do own this one.

n00bslash, welcome to the forums!

I have never seen any guides for a DIY controller converter. It would probably be a pain though.

yes, i was thinking it may be difficult, i haven't taken apart a DC controller yet, as i only have two, but if i come across a broken one i may try this out.
i was hoping that a simple wire splicing might work with a ps/2 keyboard, because there aren't many shops which sell circuit boards and things of the sort.
