Quake III Arena Online Problems

Haven’t been online in a week or two and can’t get the master server list. Never had any problems until tonight. Tried rebooting router & dreampi and nothing. Anyone else having any issues? Everything looks good..

are your dns settings 0.0.0.0?

I am assuming that nothing has changed with your network settings at home. You might want to take a picture of your LAN setup page in Q3 and post it here. From there, we can check out if something is different than what others are doing that are deemed "good".

are your dns settings 0.0.0.0?

Yes, both of them are. Username - “Dream”
Password - “dreamcast” I believe. Phone number is just a bunch of 1’s. 111-1111

Update your DNS 1 to 100.10.72.182 for a temp fix for master list

We will need to contact Kazade to update the DNS server to point to the new ip address for quake. Also can use that dns for all games but dreamcast now service will display the wrong game unless you set it back to 0.0.0.0

FYI I just sent a PM to Kazade to update the dreampi dns for quake master list.

It's already up-to-date. Checked it myself. There must be some other issue preventing him from getting the master list. Not sure what it would be though.
