So uh, there is a new game based on the Sonic Robo Blast homebrew game, which was based on a highly modified Doom engine. It basically turns the game into a full on homebrew 3D sonic game. This new version however turns that into a Mario Kart clone, and even has a few tracks from the old SNES game!
The original game was ported to Dreamcast, so I SERIOUSLY hope we can get somebody smart to port this sequal/spinoff to our system, as this deserves to be on a Sega console.
It even has local 4 player multiplayer as well as online which would be so awesome to get working on the Dreamcast version!
It's much too old, last I saw there was v1.09 ported but this is beyond v2.0.
As far as bots, I'm just going off what they wrote

Ah gotcha, I guess I was playing Staff Attack then.
And yeah, the version posted in that thread is ancient by now. Still it might need some serious optimizations as PC was the target platform.
Was going to post there asking if they have any plans for a DC version or would even be interested in it? I guess bots should be easy to implement on other tracks.

That's be awesome if there was a Dreamcast version! I wonder if we can port it ourselves too!

Does the ancient DC version have BBA, or only modem support?

Not sure, I guess it was an incomplete older version of SRB2, but as it is built upon doom maybe some of the code from the homebrew port that has multiplayer could be used here? Let me see if I can even find a version of the 2nd release.
