Dreamshell help for noob, hanging on boot screen

Hi all,

My first time posting so I apologise if it's in the wrong forum.

I have modified my dreamcast .

I have dreamshell on an sd card mod from the serial port

I have a 2.5 ide hardrive formatted in fat32 and as primary and set as slave via an adapter.

I've replaced the Gdrom drive with a mod board from dragon city

I'm using no gdrom bios flashed to a new bios chip.

I can boot to dreamshell with no hardrive but as soon as I fit any hard drive it hangs up on the boot screen.

I've attached a photo but the boot screen shows no errors.

I've ordered a CF card and adapter to try my luck another way,

Any help would be appreciated
