Dual Video, 4 GB, USB-C USB3 full speed ethernet.
For sure but it's bit over-kill for DreamPi but for RetroPie its a warm welcome.
Super news!
I hinted that they needed to make a new Pi on my blog because I used them all now.
(don't own the lower or revised versions) still 0123 and soon 4 did a pre order at my Pi shop.
Here is my Hint at the raspberry foundation. http://dcnigma.eu5.org/?p=1084 Getting most of my consoles back online.
Installing Xlink "tutorial" at the end of the post...
Now all my Raspberry Pi’s have a purpose.
Oric Atmos 1 (RetroPie 4.4 (Raspberry Pi Zero first Gen))
Xlink Kai (Raspbian stretch lite (Raspberry pi 1 B))
GameBoy Pi (RetroPie 4.4 (Raspberry pi 2 B+))
DreamPi (DreamPi 1.7 (Raspberry pi 2 B+))
Nes PI (RetroPie 4.4 (Raspberry pi 3 B+))
It’s time that the Raspberry Pi Foundation release a new pi
Guess gonna upgrade my Nes PI with a new board soon and the Raspberry pi 3 B+ would be free for a
new project
This is good news for my emulationstation maybe Saturn games play faster then 5 10 frames now?

Theoretically this should be able to handle Saturn, N64 and Dreamcast and PSP emulation. PS2 and GameCube I feel are still out of the question, as they do still require somewhat beefy computers to emulate. Saturn emulation has come a LONG way in the past 2-3 years, so I am sure this updated Pi can handle it.
I just wish my Jailbrokle PS3 could handle Saturn and N64 lol, so much untapped potential there. Oh well, maybe in the future when we get hardware acceleration added to homebrew by Rene Rebe who is working on his own custom RSX GPU drivers in PS3 Linux!

And seen that Simply Austin video too.
That is why I tried Saturn on my pi3 because its been a year later now (almost) aug. 2018
but it gave me the same speed like the first version of yabause on pc.
