I'm going to give it to UT, but I never got to play it online...Which I really wanna play online....Maybe someone knows what version UT DC is? Then we can maybe some day come across a server file for that version

I'm not sure what you mean. But yes, it can be quite laggy at times.

Oh, and this has to do with Unreal Tournament...

Do any of you think it would be possible to eventually get a server to show up on UTDC master server...IF...

We went through ALL of the UT versions that were released to the public, and host a server for each one..until we found the correct version?

Just an update from above...I am testing out a bunch of different servers that (from different versions) I am able to find on the internet. I also came across a guy named "hal", who just happens to be a moderator at an unreal website, and...look at the name for who managed the network setup in UT DC..hal9000

Who knows? Lol.

But, i think i will probably need to actually buy the full PC game before i can try too many dedicated servers. Gonna be doing a lot of reinstalling probably, too.

But, right now...I dont care! I just want to try anything. Now...if someone here knows 100% that there is no point in doing this..please tell me, as i will stop

Another update...It looks like the dreamcast version is

Now..I'm not sure what this means...

And by that I mean...

There must be another way of hosting Dreamcast servers, and...I may have stumbled upon someone very important in this project, which I started today...And If I wait for the reply of this man, I believe I can keep it from being put to rest after just a few hours.

However, there is a released v436 dedicated server software someone made, where you do not need the game to host. I am using this, but I'm sure it wont work...so really I have one idea left in the bag..actually two...But its getting late..

So please pray. I will look through dedicated server, see if there isnt something that activates DC...(Which, obviously there isnt) And that is how hard up I am for some UT online!

And no, screw the PC version...nothing but modded stuff >:(

Even when we played UT at school the last 2 years, they always did instagib...even though i always won...Just like I always won on Quake 3, when we did them. (One time we got 12 people on a server I hosted) LOL.

It was in the computer lab, that was 2 years ago, and the school was infested with the game.

EDIT: I just found a dedicated server program released in late 2000, of v436...Earlier I just found one released in 2006-2007.

I found something like that once, but I did not download it because it looked like a virus waiting to be installed. Where did you find this?

I dunno different websites have it.

The old official website had it hosted too...but the link no longer works there.
