Thats sweet. I'm surprised some of those bands came to the UK.
I have not seen many notable natl/international acts. I just go to local band shows.

I'm not gonna put up my list, I've seen over 1000 bands in my time, covering a variety of genres from anything rock based( all types of metal, punk, psychobilly, crossover, etc...), to industrial, goth, 80's, noise, you name it
damn...I'm old
here's the next fest I'm attending

Rush
Let's Active (they produced REM's first 3 records)
Velvet Elvis (obscure alternative band who opened for Let's Active)
Monkees (I performed once with Peter Tork)
Gary Puckett & The Union Gap
Cinderella (I also opened for them once)
Frehley's Comets (Ace Frehley of KISS)
Heart
Gangster
Wintergreen
Robert Mule Band
Clancy Lane (progressive jazz by some good hosers)
Genesis (BOOO)
Elvis Costello
Blondie
Peter Tork Project
Cottonmouth
Slayer
A Flock of Seagulls
The Who
The New Monks
Robert Hazzard and the Heroes
Bauhaus
Freudian Slips
Righteous Bros (wife loves them)
Celine Dion (wife loves them)
Revolver
Number 9
Rolling Stones
Various terrible bands that opened for RUSH
A ton of local bands and a bunch of oldie bands my wife liked although she is decades too young to have been born when they were around. Most of these I got in for free being I knew someone or won something. I saw Celine Doin at her very last performance in Las Vegas in Dec of 2007 for free including airfare and hotel stay because my wife won a radio contest.
Radkin and I just missed seeing Ladytron a couple of months ago...BOOO!

Yes, I liked more small and unknown bands than I have the name bands. I will not elaborate because I want to avoid a music war, but I will say that Rush never disappoints any of us musicians.
