Vga box replacement

Hi everyone,
I haven't been able to check if my reset fixes were working or not cause my vga box seems dead and my scart cable is nowhere to be found (grrr). I have an rf cable but i really don't want to play with that (and anyway is still sealed)
I will open my vga box and have a look at it, but in the meantime...
Has anyone some suggestion on what to buy as replacement?
I was looking for something cheap, i mean, i am not looking for the best image ever possible, but just something nice like my vga box, and i was thinking about a pound cable which seems good enough and affordable.
What are the differences with an hyperkin cable?
Any other suggestion?

Shame to see anyway i paid my vga box 6 or 7 years ago new for 20€ shipped, now the same model (the transparent vga retrobox) is about 50€ plus shipping used...
