Hi all,

thank you for this community dedicated to my favourite console. I found this helpful list (https://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5858) of PAL game editions and their languages on the forum. While it does list games and the languages on the box, it does not seem to talk about the language in the game.

For example I have

F355 Challenge Passione rossa / T-8118D-18 / 820-0492-18 / German

and

Record of Lodoss War / T-7012D-18 / 820-0442-18 / German

Both have the back of box completely in German but the in-game language for F355 is English, while Record of Lodoss War is entirely in German, both text and audio! I'm wondering if there other examples, like Record of Lodoss War, of PAL games that do not have an English in-game language option. Are those examples already collected in a list, by any chance?

Welcome to the chaos and confusion that are the PAL releases.

Sorry for needless bump, but there's a French specific version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Instead of the UK host (Chris Tarrant) it features the French host and presumably a different set of questions.

lol for real there are like 4-5 versions of some games

Hello.

I was thinking about buying the german version of Resident Evil 2 or Resident Evil 3. My question is about the language in game. Does this version has english text? I know that the back cover and the manual are probably only in german, but i only care about the "in game" text.
