That's great news!! So this can be applied to other MVS-to-CD conversions as well?
Also, would you mind releasing the NeoGeo "Eightman" as a standalone, too? I'm not the biggest fan of compilation discs, it makes things somewhat cluttered...
Like requested this is the standalone
This is proof of concept it's a mvs game converted to neogeo cd and the music has been removed because it's allways to slow all sfx is there speed is good i have not tested this on real hardware only nulldc so try it only on gdemu dont burn it right now Till it's confirmed to work from a cdr..
Main thing for this is on aes or aes4all music allways speeds up slows down on this game very annoying this you can play with just the sfx I have modded the sound code to only allow the sfx on this game .. this is not a CD game but MVS arcade conversion to NEOGEO CD
There is no frameskip or back ground throttle it's 100% smooth scrolling please try on nulldc I hate frameskip or jerky ness so it's little slower then the real game but your eyes will thank me very playable 60fps is what nulldc says it's running at maybe the case on this emulator

sometimes there is bug if you kill the first boss use only your special the sound will not stop
on the first boss if you use your feet and hands the sound stops.. anyways only seems to happen there.. not all the time but letting you know how to get thru that bit and still have sound on the next running levels..
So if the sound stops when you kill the first boss try it again use only your special move and it does not..
this is really an alpha
Seems to be if he touches you it stops because i just used my feet and hands sound did not stop anyways sometimes works most times does now and then it does not ..
japan cartoon this game is based off

Thanks a lot man!
I don't have an optical DC drive installed, but i can confirm that this runs on USB-GDROM.
Seems to me, that although this is still a proof of concept, it is already more enjoyable than with the shaky music emulation.
Some observations:
- almost all of the "pling" sounds (like when your picking up special items or entering your initials) seem to be out of tune, i.e. they run to slow
- Eightman's stepping sound are missing in area 2
- sometimes all sounds are muted until you're hit by someone/something, then they reappear

Thanks for testing yes i have some work to do on the sound emulation and timer code for this.. can only get better .. It's a little buggy with sound some times not being there I will fix it in time.. glad it runs on real hardware as well..
also nice to know the sh4 asm for the pvr render is working on real hardware all the work i did making all the memory 32bit alignment of all memory is working the updated c68k is working and the cz80 for neogeo cd games this all makes it very fast not released yet but for these mvs conversion which before were about half this speed not even worth using..
thanks for the feedback since my cd burner broke i have been working on Dreamneo for 1 month or so with no way to see if it works on hardware.. i can tell you how many times ive made changes like this that only work on nulldc lol
i can fine tune the sfx to bring it to the right sound that will be next..
