Hi DC fellows!
I noticed that my psu has a strange smell: it's not like burnt, but more similar to old electronics. It gets stronger when the power supply heats up during the usage but I can definitely notice it also when it is cold.
The console is working as expected and I have also removed the 12v regulator since I've attached a gdemu.
Any idea what might cause it?
Is it dangerous?

for anyone interested, after a psu recap and pcb cleaning with IPA, the smell seems gone.

For me, it's not dangerous.
