Requesting help with emulation.

So I'm trying to do this myself and I honestly have to admit I just can't seem to figure it out.
I'd like to compile my own disk for snes/sega/mame/atari and ps1 but I assume that's only
going to work with a sd card mod. a Lot of the material I've come across just leads to dead
ends (broken links) or fails to have clear directions.
This is the first time I've tried doing anything like this, maybe if your willing to help break it
all down for me in simple terms with links I can just send you some money for you time. I
have discord as well if that helps and I catch on very fast once I see it in action. Also I was
told I can get things like Doom and halflife running on a dreamcast which would be amazing.
I'd have no issues doing the physical system mods but this software aspect has me so confused.
I tried posting earlier but I guess mod didn't approve it or just hasn't approved it yet.
