Thanks for uploading this and all your effort with these Atomiswave conversions! I've just tested with USB-GDROM and it's working perfectly!

Now we have Metal Slug 6, Neogeo Battle Coliseum and this one working with USB-GDROM!

If you are using dma transfers, I can send you a piece of code that reads a block of sectors to a given ram address through dma, and is compatible with emus and mode (and also other odes)

yes, I use DMA for reading, but I do it through system calls, and sector-by-sector reading is not suitable for this, I use the dma read stream function, it was used only in games from Visual Concept

Works with USB-GDROM (boots up, played a couple of rounds) on latest USB-GDROM firmware. Whatever you did, it definitely solved the issue on this ODE :)

thanks for the tests, now I know that USB-GDROM and MODE use TOC from IP.BIN
this information is only used by WINCE games with CDDA, it is not clear why ODE developers use it

Yep, I also confirm it works on USB-GDROM only King of Fighters XI and Metal Slug 6 don't work on USB-GDROM

I've had no issues with "Metal Slug 6" on USB-GDROM. It works at least on my side.
