Virtua Tennis / NBA Showtime Player 2 Pauses Randomly

Hi all,

For whatever reason, depending on which controller port I plug player 2 (Virtua Tennis it's Port 2, NBA Showtime Port 3) the game automatically hits pause. If I turn off the console and move the arcade stick to port 4, the pausing glitch goes away.

I'm using the retro board PCB MC Cthulhu so it defaults to the Arcade style "C" and "Z" button layout.

So there's two assumptions:

1) My PCB wiring is throwing off the game controls and tripwires the game to hit pause. My 10 other multiplayer games don't do this though.

2) These two games have trouble using two arcade sticks simultaneously and it's a glitch.

Anyone ever experienced this?
