Can I swap a 3 pin pcb and fan for a 2 pin pcb and fan? been mucked about since Christmas trying to get a 3 pin one, First one arrived with a broken player 1 port, the second one arrived with a 2 pin fan socket, 3rd one never arrived.

just came across a 2 pin fan that might fit and started making me wonder?

no you can't, the board with a two-pin connector is for the VA0 motherboard
these boards have different flat cable layouts

FYI I just bought a 3 pin controller from aliexpress and worked perfectly (at least port 1, didn't try the others) You can try there
