PS/2 Splitter for the Sega Dreamcast

I have a Sega Dreamcast and I play online with my DreamPi kit. The things that I use are the PS/2 Keyboard with my Total Control 5 Adapter, I was thinking about buying a PS/2 Splitter and PS/2 Mouse so I can use both my PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse in one PS/2 Adapter port for Quake III Arena and Outtrigger Online (Outtrigger is still a Work in Progress). I don’t know if the PS/2 Splitter will work with any PS/2 adapter (Even with my single Total Control 5 Adapter). I really want to play Quake III Arena online but, using my Dreamcast Controller is hard to play. Also, buying a Dreamcast Keyboard and Mouse are too expensive, just to let you know that I need to save money. Anyways, if you have any questions or answers please reply to me, thanks and see you online.

Here’s a photo of the PS/2 Splitter and the Total Control 5 PS/2 Adapter...

no, it won't work like that
one port one device
you can assemble the PS/2 keyboard/mouse adapter by yourself
