Dreamcast widescreen menu ?

I guess the title ist self explanatory, but is there a hack for the Dreamcast bios menu to be widescreen.
I think it would look rather nice to see on a HDTV with a dccdmi mod.

There is a widescreen hex code made by @Esppiral.
But you have to patch your bios by yourself.
I don't know how to do that.

if you change at least one byte in the BIOS, it will stop loading

Sorry to bump up an ancient thread, but if that is the case how did Japanese_cake make the freezone replacement bios?

I don't know how Japanese_cake did it, but I modified the console for brootforce checksum
moreover, you can’t replace a large piece of code and pick up a checksum, you can only change small pieces and sort through the checksum each time
latest bios from japanese_cake use bios from sega aurora slot machine, it allows you to create almost any custom bios, but game compatibility is far from perfect
