Packapunch scart cable on flat TV question

Hi all,
I read on twitter some comments that retrotink 5x + the dreamcast packapunch scart rgb cable is a great combo to get really good image output on a modern flat tv.
I am currently using an akura hdmi box from behabros. I like it but I am interested to know if the above setup would give me a significantly better output?
Also retrotink 5x is pretty expansive (and always out of stock) so I am wondering if a retrotink 2x scart + the packapunch wouldn't give me similar results?
Thanks for your help
