Street Fighter Zero 3 for Matching Service - 240p mode?

I just got this game, Street Fighter Zero 3 for Matching Service. I had previously tried the standard DC version of Zero 3, but I gave up on that because it doesn't support 15kHz RGB mode. I heard that the Matching Service does. Also, all of the information I've read about it says that that version also supports 240p. Today I got my copy, and it does run in 15kHz RGB mode, but in 480i, not 240p. I tried holding L+Start at boot, and that does nothing. I've tried other combinations too, like R+Start and Y+Start, to no avail. It's possible I just have the timing wrong, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong - I tried holding it immediately after I power on the system, after the "licensed by Sega" message, after the data loading screen appears, etc. - none of these seem to work. It's strange, because I've found multiple different sources that say the game supports 240p, yet I can't find any way to do it. Does anyone know how to get the game to run in 240p mode?

It says there that Street Fighter Zero 3 for Matching Service has "native 240p" support. Other than that, I don't see anything else that can help.

In case anyone was wondering, I never figured out a way to enable 240p on the "for Matching Service" version. However, I found that the PAL DC version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 supports RGB and has 240p enabled by default in that mode, so that's now my preferred version of the game.
