At first I thought these games used some weird encryption or something but it appears its a toc trick?
If you view the echelon nfl2k isos (2k,2k1,2k2,ncaa) 1st session has every file of the game basically mirroring the 2nd session.
start lba of 2nd session in the area of 300,000.
The total size of the iso is enough to fit on cdr.

So my question is how do you create a fake toc?
A way for the filesize of each file to appear correct, but in reality its not? (0byte files?)
Did echelon somehow link the data to the 2nd session?

Any1 have an idea?
Im sure megavolt, neo, yzb, fg would know.
lmk because I want to mod these games with stadiums, uniforms, and difficulty settings from different versions etc.

It would be super cool to have pro teams play at college stadiums.
Difficulty settings of nfl2k2 in nfl2k.
Maybe college playbooks for pro teams?
Uniforms for the unlockable sega all stars etc.

How about CFL teams (there are 9 teams)? Some of the uniforms look like some of the NFL teams. Some do not.

i would only be able to swap files from 2k,2k1,2k2,ncaa.
maybe 2k3 from gamecube idk yet.
as far as cfl teams, i think you're sol unless some1 here could mod the textures.

the issue is making a selfboot cdi.
i could mod the gdi's but i would like to figure out how echelon created selfboots for the 2k games.
have you ever wondered why no1 except echelon has ripped these games?
no other group has been able to do it.

if no1 can give me info, which i think is how it will go, like usual..
i might figure it out one day.
if not oh well idc.

Sorry, I was only throwing the CFL thing out there for humor. I am the only person in the Dreamcast community who likes the CFL, but realistically I did not expect anyone to waste their time on that.

maybe the reason no1 responds is because no1 knows howto replicate what echelon did with the nfl2k isos.
i mean no other group has made isos of the nfl 2k games and we are going on 20 years.

as for the cfl, if i could i would add hockey teams and hockey rinks idgaf.

It must be the apocalypse, two of us like the CFL!...lol! Two people I work with love the CFL in NJ USA...that is all I have. If it were remotely possible, it would still be a waste of someone's time being only two users would play it.

I second that. a quick PM asking if they know how to or some guidance on it doesn't seem too unreasonable a request. I'd also hit up anyone else you can think of on here that might have the knowhow. I'd suggest TuxTheWise but they've not been active on here in over a year but always worth a punt I spose.
