Yes indeed, you are here to defend it, theres no doubt about it. But first of all, segatastic isnt defunct. Theres news posted from this same month. Scroll down a little bit and it says it was suspended. Temporarily we can say, since, like ive just said, theres news posted on october. Besides, even if it was really defunct, that doesnt means what is posted there is wrong. Could be outdated, but doesnt mean wrong..

And the reason its back is because some people on the internet are so bored they will do again over and over what they do, no matter how wrong it is. Perfect alternate example is people that are banned on servers because of cheating. 99% of these, as soon as they realize they are banned will straightaway make another email account and re-register, cheating again, thinking they can fool again the staff.

That theory also applies to webmasters.

Like i said i never heard of that website and webmaster before, so idk about anything it mentions about them. But i fully approve what the blog when it says:

Code: Select all

Another point is the blog itself - it takes the name of a previous blog, FGNOnline, which shut down in the early 2000s. The layout is dated and cheap, and the previous news about Sega-Sammy is probably there to make the "exclusive" news look legitimate.

One other extremely suspect point about the website is the forum. The administrator refers to "Mr. Morris" in the third person, when it is extremely likely that they are same. Some of the members, namely "Digi", "Crackdude", "Omega" and "Realgamer" all seem to be the same person as well, agreeing with each other in quick succession and rubbishing other speculative members' posts (including a member from Sega Nerds). The last name, "Realgamer", is the most suspicious - the previous "Zach Morris" Sega hoax was posted on a website entitled "Real Games Players". It is therefore extremely likely that Zach Morris, the administrator, all the aforementioned posters and "BIGGER" on the SoA Boards are indeed the same person.
Layout is indeed "dated and cheap", ive seen better free layouts even in frontpage.( R.I.P.) And i havent checked the facts that are stated in the second paragraph but from what ive seen so far i wouldnt be surprised at all. It is a really cliche action from that kind of webmaster.

I think Sega AND Sega Nerds are being silly. Every time they confront or attack FGNonline they draw more and more people to their website and links. If they would have just said "It's just a rumor" and let it die then things wouldn't have gotten crazy.

And some conspiracist are going to a have a field day with WHY they are trying to shut down FGNonline's claims. Do they have something to hide? hmmmmm? 8-)

That SEGASAMMY is building a set top device from RINGWIDE hardware.
What's a set top?
