GDEMU and OpenEmu: help on configuration

HI, i bought an original GDEMU, i'm waiting for it. In the meanwhile i want to prepare the microsd. I followed this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah0hEvz5Pbg&t=176s and the official guide too: https://github.com/mrneo240/GDMENUCardM ... structions
They are the same, but the official guide says that i have to extract the openemu pack where i extracted the GDMENUCardManager; the youtube guide says to extract it exactly here: GD Menu Card Manager\tools\menu_data
I think that both are correct. But i have 2 questions:

1) I added all my .gdi games with GDMENU Card manager but i have an issue when i add some NG-DEV games, in particular DUX 1.5 (#23), Fast Striker (#26), Gunlord (#30), Neo XYZ (#32): as you can see, the title isn't available.

Does it means that the games will not work properly? I know i can manually add the title, of course. But is it necessary that GDEMU Card Manager automatically enter it?

2) i followed the guide i linked above so you can see here: https://postimg.cc/D8vQmxDV my current microSD configuration.
I have also created the folder on my pc with GD Emu Card Manager and i used it to upload all the games. Today I also updated the file 1ST_READ.BIN related to the alpha 3 just released.
But i don't understand how can my Dreamcast load the OpenEmu with covers as both the OpenEmu and covers aren't present in my microSD...in my microsd i only have the games folders...nothing else...the GD Emu Card manager with all the needed files (openemu, DAT,...) is present only in my pc...

Thank you

You will have to manually enter the names for those NG-DEV games. Some indie titles are like that.

Covers are inside the DAT file for openmenu. When you start up the gdemu with sd card inside it will read the DAT file and display images with game info.

ah ok thansk, ok i will enter the missing titles.

But i haven't understood the issue about the cover: yes, the DAT includes the cover. But the DAT is inside the folder of GDEMU Card manager, that i have prepared on my desktop as described in the guide: https://i.postimg.cc/FHFt34pf/Cattura2.png

In my microSD i only have the folders with games and the folder 01 with GDEMU files:

So i don't understand how GDEMU can load the DAT file as it isn't present on my microSD...

thank you

The dat file is inside the gdi file of folder one. Folder one contains the menu app.

ah ok thanks! this is my 01 folder: https://i.postimg.cc/xTWFrn27/Cattura.png

Just another question: this is my current GD MENU CARD MANAGER: https://i.postimg.cc/s29hj9ZS/Cattura2.png
As you can see, some games have the title with upper case. If i want that every game appear in OpenEmu with Upper case title, i have to modify for example games # 4, 7, 11... is that correct?

thanks

yes you can mouse right click on each name box and change to upper case or lower case lettering.
