If it's that huge of an issue just buy one of the several pre-modded units as an alternative. They're a few hundred bucks. They may be clones, but hey. Probably pretty fair as there's at least a couple hours put into downloading and organizing. I'd pay 300 bucks for one with a 512GB card and every game. Easy. Especially if it has the other quality of life stuff done to it; which most do. Some folks probably make a partial living building them and selling them marked up.
