my guess is its some web browser/ edu hybrid bs that is worth as much as a used car apparently.

Don't mind me, just gonna attach all the images from that ebay listing into this thread for preservation, since I don't think we've seen this many photos of it in detail and ebay listings get wiped after a few months

I'll match 5k if anyone dares to buy. Problem is, it's likely useless and even for the sake of preservation, it could be even more useless without whatever server it connected to. As soon as I found it I dug deep and discovered its pretty well known in terms of rare dreamcast items, and there are different variants for different schools. Couldn't find any info regarding rips or capture, however. So maybe the number in actual circulation is in single digits as implied by forum posts. Either way, my stance remains that it's probably useless and aside from being really anal about archiving all things Dreamcast... It'd likely be a let down, even for the exploration factor lol.

Yep looks like a jazzed up web browser. The back of the case talks about doing things like visiting various websites and doing "network life", which I assume probably means things like using chatrooms or sending e-mails.

So let me get this straight, they sent out Dreamcasts to the students at his school, and this guy just says "nice, time to play sakura wars!"
