Guys, is the Dell Modem rd02 d400 gone?
I can't buy them anymore... eBay, Amazon, nobody is selling this modem...

Yeah but it looks like from a private seller and not from China or Japan from a company where I can buy 10 pieces...
Lat year I bought 10 pieces at ones from Japan eBay. Now it's all gone.
Has Dell productions problems? Exist other Conexant Modems?

Its the same Problem now i think.
Im looking for RD02-D400 USB 56K USB MODEM Modem (dell, lenovo, anywhat else) ...

The only thing i now that it cant be a softmodem, only hardmodems will work with DreamPi, or?

Zoom 3095 we know it works. Yes need to be conexant hardware modem.

I wouldn't risk it, what if it's an USB HSF Conexant Softmodem?

It is important but the norm is that all of them have the necessary protocols V42.bis and MNP5 (data compression and error control)

Softmodems often have linux driver problems. Prefer hardware modems.
It is not possible to say that this Kalea is hardware modem just by the descriptions.
