Best/easiest way to get a dreamcast online in 2022?

hey all - so i'd unfortunately not sorted a dreampi kit earlier, and the store here (like most places with speciality products in this chip shortage) seems perpetually out, with no idea when that might change.
do i just sort a raspberry pi elsewhere & grab the USB modem here, is that all i'd need?
also: would this work running a GDEMU setup or should i stick with my system that runs discs?
