Ok.. haven't done this in awhile some basic q's plz I appreciate the help.

I don't have a home phone number. Tried connecting through q3, seganet popped up with 50 free hours bla bla. Asked for a home number I used my cell number, filled everything else out.. it says 'modem error! No dial tone. Check that your dreamcast modem is plugged into a working telephone jack. Try again.' So basically do I need to plug it in to my reuter thing by my comp where I get net out of? Or plug it into the jack my modem reuter things plugged into? Any help please. Its not a back up disc either its original(q3 game)
Or do I fill out the other online thing not seganet? I'm assuming no seganet..? If so how do I find my dns shit and all that gravy if so?

Thanks in advance

you need a real home phone line to use dial up. if you want to use broadband or your router you will need the Dreamcast broadband adapter. expect to pay about $200 for one on ebay. last option is to build a PC-DC server. building a server is only for the more tech savvy users though.

if you do not have a home phone then you're kind of screwed. you can order phone server and dial up internet or you can buy the BBA. the choice is yours.

Fuck man. BBA is still so fucking expensive??

I guess I need to think about this.. Is there people still online for DC? I guess is my first question..

hard finding ppl online for some ps3 games, so Im gonna go with not that often.. online on dc does kick the crap out of single player tho. and its pretty damn fun from what i remember.
I guess start looking up pc-dc server stuff.. hm.

BBA gets more expensive everyday actually, do not expect it to suddenly to be cheap.

As for online activity, its pretty weak honestly. But theres a few games made on pso everyday as far a i know, im one of the active members.

Just getting to get signed up , I read your thread doc. Bba only psov2 to only be able to use psov1 and all that crap I think I'm better up just buying a land line again to go through that hassle plus the cost I'm not even going to try pc-dc server if just that gave me a headache.. aw man its a sad day. Not to mention the --- damn cost of bba again.
