PSP emulating Dreamcast? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??

Hello everyone, searching the net, i´ve seen that 1 year ago the project for briging NullDC to PSP was released to the public. I remember many years ago some YouTube videos of somebody emulating DC home menu, Power Stone and even Shenmue on DC, obviously very flawed, lots of glithes and tecnically unplayable....But damn, RUNNING ON FREAKING PSP, which is supossed to be sort of similar in graphical power to DC. Look for yourself: https://youtu.be/skUS7UI5OGU
I always thought it was a hoax, but...
Turns out, that "somebody" is known as drk||Raziel and released the NullDC for PSP made by him and others last year, 13 years later. See it: https://archive.org/details/nullDC-PSP
And there are various recent videos of different users testing it, see https://youtu.be/vTpIax8PUY4
My question is....How on earth is this possible?
Yes, i know PSP is 6 years newer than DC, so it can be more powerful, but we have seen what both systems can do, and yes, PSP has more complex and demanding games than anything on the same genre on DC like Midnight Club 3, GTA Vice and Liberty City Stories, but also DC has games with higher polycounts than games from the same genre on PSP, like Shenmue or DOA 2.... see it for yourself on this thread https://forum.beyond3d.com/threads/yes- ... 1/page-107
And yes, PSP has 64 MB RAM from 2001 models and beyond (Null DC PSP doesnt work on 1000 Model, which has 32 MB) vs 16 on DC, and also looks like overall PSP sports more geometry and is capable to display more advanced post processing effects out of the box than DC....but DC has more VRAM and it displays the games on higher native resolution than PSP... So how can it be? anyone has a clue? For emulating a system, your machine has to be at least 10 times more powerful than the system emulated...So PSP is at least equivalent to 5 times DC power (cause emulation is far from perfect and i highly doubt it would ever be) for emulating slowly and glitched DC games?
Even Vita struggles to emulate perfect some DC games...so...i dont understand...
and also, PSP dreamcast ports, like Power Stone and Crazy Taxy misses detail on textures and other stuff...so hooow?
So, is this turns out to be real is PSP more powerful than PS2 then?
Otherwise, +20 years ago Sony was right and PS2 was almost a gen ahead from out beloved DC in graphical power?
Is our machine a buffed system 32/64 bit console and not a real "128 bits system"?
So DC potential was really untapped?
Or this is just a technical miracle made by some skilled dude?
