I always thought that the utopia reindeer was a modified teapot.bin from sdk.
It turns out it is.

I heard Utopia also used a picture of themselves for the texture on the reindeer - which allowed German police to figure out who they were and execute a SWAT like raid, which is why you never see that much from Utopia for the dreamcast in the later years of the DC's life. Honestly, if that story is true, really surprised German police put in the effort to decode the texture, figure out who the people were, and then do a SWAT raid just to stop a tiny sliver of dreamcast piracy.

It probably is a model from some other game, they modified teapot.bin with their texture.
I think they might have also used the bin loader from sdk as well.
They created utopia bootdisk using official sdk samples and programs.

Yeah not much of a hack really with out the leaked sdk there pretty much be not cracked dc bios or loading is not cracks even now..

That sounds crazy. The bit I don't get it is how a picture of them would lead police to them...? And surely the picture is still in there then - ready for anyone to extract?

I think the reindeer spins around for a bit, then it switches to what i assume is a pic of the utopia group. AFAIK it switches once the 1st_read has been found on the swapped cdr.

Dreamcast bios exploit there is none all homebrew is just using official sdk to boot.. Dreamcast is not cracked never has been..

It finds the 0gdtex.pvr displays that and then boots the game if you remember there is one on every release or gdi.. I'm doing this here
